New Zealand Aged Residential Care Financial Performance Study
This study considered the factors influencing the New Zealand aged residential care sector and financial performance of providers.
The objective was to:
- Gauge the financial performance of aged care providers.
- Understand the implications for sector and economy; and
- Provide a basis for ongoing benchmarking of performance and cost/subsidy indexation into the future.
Based on our findings, we have made recommendations for the sector to improve sustainability and meet increasing demand for age-related care and services into the future.
