In our latest edition of the Residential Managers’ Bulletin, we look into the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission’s Sector Performance Report, the Aged Care Taskforce Report and the implications of the delayed implementation of the Aged Care Act.
The strengthened Quality Standards will also be delayed and introduced with the commencement of the new Aged Care Act. Whilst this gives additional time to prepare for the transition, the results from the latest Sector Performance report indicates there is an opportunity to lift current performance in preparation for the implementation of the strengthened Quality Standards. We explore foundational areas providers should consider addressing in this edition of the Bulletin.
